Apolinar received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fresno with a minor in Chicano Latino Studies. He has obtained a Professional Clear Multiple Subject Bilingual Teaching Credential from C.S.U. Fresno. He has also earned an Administrative Services Credential from Fresno Pacific University.

Mr. Marroquin worked for the Exeter Public School District as a social science teacher , coach, athletic director, and assistant principal for the last 10 years. He lives in Visalia and spends most of his free time camping, fishing and following sports with his son Blake.
