Granite Hills Football Rules
1. The field is 55 yards long, divided into 3 zones zones.
2. Scoring - touchdown is 6 points, a point after touchdown is 1 point.
3. Start of Game:
a. A ball shall be put into play by the kicking team by a punt, place kick, or a drop kick from behind their own 15 yard line.
b. The entire receiving team must be at least 15 yeards awany from the ball.
c. A ball kicked over the opponents goal line may be run out or touched down. If touched down, it is put in play on the 15 yard line.
d. The receiving team always gains possession of the kickoff.
4. The ball must be centered between the center's legs.
5. The ball may be run, passed toward, laterally, or backward, or kicked by the offensive team. Once beyond the line of scrimmage, the ball may not be passed forward. It can, however, be passed laterally or backward.
6. A team has four downs to move from one zone to the next. The team gains a first down when it reaches the nest zone line.
7. A fumble is a dead ball as soon as it touches the ground.
8. The touch may be made in any manner, on any part of the body.
9. Any ball that goes out-of-bounds is considered dead, and is put in play in the middle of the field even with the out-of-bounds spot.
10. The teams shall change goals after each score.
11. Everyone is eligible for a pass.
12. Blocking is permitted, but at no time can the blocker leave his feet.
13. Punting team must notify the opponent.
14. Penalties of fouls: The offended team has the choice of counting or replaying the down.
15. All players must be in a three point stance.
16. No Swearing.
17. Player counts to three alligators and then they can rush.
"One Pitch Softball" Rules
The team at bat furnishes the pitcher.
Each batter is given only one pitch.
The batter must hit the ball fair and reach base safely or he is out.
No bunting, or swinging easy is allowed.
No sliding is allowed.
Any interference by the pitcher, intentional or not, causes the batter to be out.
All members of the team at bat must be behind the backstop.
As soon as the batting team is ready, the pitcher may pitch.
No stealing bases.
